I am not able to charge customers penalty fees for not showing up to classes. GymCatch is linked to Stripe, but none of your customers’ payment info will be saved onto Stripe. The only way you can charge additional fees is if you send someone who violated your policies an invoice through stripe, PayPal, etc. Or you’ll have to make your clients make an account on Stripe and save them as a customer so you can force charge them for penalty fees. Sounds like a lot of work right? If you’re trying to build a big studio, you might as well use something like MindBody. Big price difference but definitely worth the investment and makes your life easier. GymCatch might be a good option if you’re a small business with a very small clientele to get the hang of organizing your classes and roster.

As a fitness provider in a small rural area, the search tool was difficult to use, because my own classes did not show up for people looking for my classes. I also am hoping for an update (or maybe a future app) to be able to use all of the business tools available on the website. Having to go between the site and app to update things is time consuming. The app itself is great and my participants have really liked it once they know how to get to the features they need.
