Checkparty has been the most no-frills, intuitive, and simple way I’ve found for splitting bill costs with friends. It’s incredibly easy to use. I had an issue a couple months ago finding a tax/tip option (swapping between percentage and exact amount) and messaged the developer, and they were super kind and seemed really passionate about this. Checkparty is great, it has the most intuitive design of any of the check splitting apps on iOS. The venmo integration makes it very easy to request money after meals.
