Fashion Salon is a really good app, and my daughter loves it! There are just a few problems with this app. One problem is at the beginning there is a character select. They show the birth signs of the characters, and there's nothing wrong with that. The problem is that for the character, Katie, her birth sign is verseau, a birth sign that doesn't exist. Another problem is that for Spa, you pop your character's pimples. I don't think that is appropriate for kids. It isn't inappropriate, but I don't want my daughter to see that kind of stuff. Also, there are problems with Beauty. First of all, in the eye colors, they show red eyes. RED EYES!! Like, what the heck. Also, until you put the mascara on her, she has no eyebrows! That's really creepy. Some of the outfits in Fashion are not kid friendly. Anyway, my main concern isn't what most people would focus on. The app is really air headed. It encourages young girls to be all into their looks. Their looks don't matter, it's the girl on the inside that counts. But this app is making kids focus on their looks. This is my main concern as a parent. I have nothing else to say, it's a good app.
It's great! When you first get it off the App Store for free it is not the full version. The FULL version is an in-app purchase. The FULL version is $3.99 in the app. With the free version it has limited items, less hairstyles, less makeup, less clothes, and less props. In the free version the club and the fashion show are both locked also. And in the free version it doesn't save the game so every time you close the app you have to start all over from the beginning. However in the full version it does save, plus there are TONS of stuff in the full version, TONS of hairstyles, TONS of makeup, TONS of clothes, and lots of props. And in the full version the club and the fashion show are both unlocked. All in all its a great app. Also you apply makeup only on the parts you touch so you can do different amounts of makeup. Which means you can do different styles, such as cat-eye makeup. Super awesome app!😄
This game is AWESOME! I really like it a lot!!! The only two things I think it could use would be 1: more backgrounds like a mall, next to a car, in a restaurant,etc... 2: it would be fun to do the second girl's makeup. These are the only minor things I think are missing other wise great game I would totally recommend it!😄👍👌
