Aloud!, text to speech reader

I really really really enjoy this app and to tell you the truth I use it at least 10 hours a day I mean from I wake up till I sleep! Unless I cannot listen or use my ipad, I use this app. But what annoys me very much is reader say for no apparent reason “to the power up” it is really annoying. It says it when there is “...” and some time with spaces and dotes. So please can you remove “to the power up” or at least fix it😢💔

Copy an paste 🤦🏼‍♂️is this not year 2020 I should not 👂 hear the audio voice over text read out semicolon, dots, and punctuations.. come on developers ( create, find the problem an become the solution) in the year 2020 my finger should touch on any text online, email, or book and my second touch should select “read” and at a comfortable speech rate. I should hear 👂 ONLY the text. semicolon, dots, and punctuations should impact how it read; not being READ! I really don’t understand how this technology is still in the dark ages 🤷🏻‍♂️

I like this app better than some others I've used, but for some strange reason. It won't pronounce "fi" or "fl". It will just say whatever comes after, or it will spell out the remaining letters. If I'm reading along visually, it's not a big deal, but if only listening, it leaves gaps in my understanding of the text.
