I use Plantronics headsets for work and love them. Thought getting the Backbeat Fit 2100 would be the same from the start too for working out. The headset pairs perfectly with my iPhone 5s without issue and it sounds good. Trying to get it connected to the companion app does not work. Tried searching and could find nothing on it. Restarted app multiple times and repaired multiple times and still no good.

The old headset I had was failing to stay connected and I’m sure it needed a firmware update but plantronics didn’t seem to care to keep the old model up to date with newer iPhone operating system so I got this new 2100 set and it don’t have a mute on the left side that came in so handy and it just doesn’t have any of the other features as the old one... Was nothing worng with the old except the firmware... I used to like Fitbit until now that I found the product not supported for its lifetime. Will find a new product name I hope that cares not to waste my money and that doesn’t downgrade their new products rather than make better. Oh and the other problem is people complain about hearing me on the phone so I end up going to my iPhones speaker phone to have good communication... Hope they hear this and do something to be a great reputable company. If not They lost my future money. lol 😂 This is how Buisness fails eventually. It used to be the customer was always right and mattered that they were well pleased and taken care of but those days seem to be gone.... mimosa the old days when we were treated with respect...

Having read reviews for previous versions, I was highly skeptical it would end well. But, my headphones are still under warranty so I went for it after being lured by promises of “improved power management.” Updated without issue and it only took a couple of minutes at that. Pleasant experience.
