Database seems very good as I was able to look up some very small airports, and also tested to see that I was able to look these up offline, which seemed to work just fine. However, the free version did not allow looking at any maps, and it does not seem to allow more than one leg of a trip, so if you are trying to plan an entire trip where you have multiple flight legs, it does not appear that this program would allow you to do that. Although the database would be well worth the 1.99 purchase price alone, the extreme limitations of the free version did not allow me to test the program enough to be willing to buy without looking to better alternative programs first.

I am not a pilot, but am working to change that. This app is a great tool for projecting flight distances and duration. I use it to check range compatibility of aircraft I am interested in learning to fly. Also useful is the satellite view of depicting ground track allowing me to quickly reference terrain and waypoints on a given desired route.

Frequent traveler looking to determine if I'll make the next level of frequent flyer program or not. Should I pay a bit more on preferred carrier or save myself sometime and take another, because of hub connection. Works perfectly for this.
