I haven’t had much of an issue with my purchases thru FandangoNow website. As I see the many reviews regarding purchase issues. The one thing I would like for the developers to consider for the app is the ability to display a queue of recently viewed movies that haven’t completed. Often times I start a movie and don’t finish it the same day and when I return to the app a few days later, I sometime forget which movie I last seen but didn’t finish. It would be nice to have a selection to display all movies recently viewed items that haven’t been completed. Netflix has this option why can’t it be incorporated into this app?

This could be a good app but it fails to connect to chromecast. I contacted support and was told they could not fix issues with their app. I uninstalled and reinstalled and it will not cast a purchased movie from fandango. So, it gets one star. Every other streaming platform I use works with chromecast so I am thinking the issue is with the fandango app. Too bad, it could be great, but pretty useless if you w@nt to cast via chromecast. UPDATE- I discovered that this app requires user to manually allow location services in order for the app to locate chromecast. Once I allowed this, it was able to find my devices. Sorry that support did not suggest I check this - maybe this will help others. I did watch the purchased movie without any trouble and will likely try others. I would give the app 5 stars now- it works!

Ordered a movie on my Roku tv last night and payed $5.99 for it. From what I see movie belongs to fandango now and I never got the play movie option. Checked my bank statement and of course I got charged for the movie. I also got the confirmation email from Roku for the purchase. Still no movie to watch. Called the customer service and no one picked up. Left them a message on social media and no one bothered to answer. At this point I’m not sure where to go and who to ask for my refund. I’m working all day today so I’m not sure if the play option is available now since you can watch the movie for 48 hours but that’s not the point because I wanted to watch it last night and not whenever fandango thinks it’s ok to allow it to stream. This hasn’t happened before so I won’t give it a 1 star but overall I think I will avoid ordering movie from fandango so I don’t experience this again.
