Nice app, works well. But almost too minimal. A few improvements would be: to select the number of groups for the lesson (four is too little for many letters); to insert missing letters after the lesson at the right position (at the moment, when you want to add a letter within a group, it will automatically added at the end); to remove special characters since they are hard to write with the iphone keyboard; and to learn single characters, all listed in a list.

Quick and easy to launch and pick up where your skills left off. Configurable speed and pitch are nice features. UI is clean and fairly straightforward.
Will frequently stall in tone playback--almost always after a setting change, and after a few consecutive lessons--and require a (quick) restart of the app; this is a critical bug that should be fixed, but does not prevent it from being usable.
As a feature request, a complete reference of the 'sounds-to-symbol' would be desirable outside the lesson introductions.

Great app. Very useful in teaching, I would just like to recommend that you make the period on screen a little bigger. When the level first starts, it gives you a list of all the letters you have done, and the period (.)is added in there. I honestly didn’t know that it was there until the = sign came in. I would like to recommend making that darker or bigger so that it is easier to see and identify. Other than that, it is a very effective app.
