São Paulo Metro - Official

I downloaded as I am in SP and want to use the metro. This app is utterly useless as it can’t even give a metro route!!! Here is an example - I entered Moema as the origin and Ana Rosa as destination. It can’t even give me a metro router and instead shows me uber and multiple bus options!!! I know that from Moema to Ana Rosa I have to take purple (Lilac) towards Chácara Klabin and then change to green line towards Ana Rosa but this ‘official’ app is incapable of giving me these directions!!!

Meses depois de desinstalar , instalei novamente na esperança que tivessem atualizado… Antes era aceitável , desde que soubesse o nome da estação … agora o app se tornou um anúncio de carro de aplicativo.

In order to use this app you have to know the names of the stations and where they are. For example: It does not tell you how to get to the nearest station. Another example: it does not show you how to get to your destination once you arrive at the final station (it does not tell you how many meters you are from destination or where to walk to get there from final station). For this, use Google Maps, which gives street map, gives directions (driving, walking, bus, bike, but no subway directions) and shows subway stations.
