The Village Bank

The app is very slow to open and slow to navigate between tabs. A large part of the screen is taken up by ‘ads’ of limited use (eg for a product I have or otherwise doesn’t apply) leading me to wonder whether the time to switch pages is related to the time it takes to load these informational tidbits. The bank says it uses these to communicate with customers but they really are of limited use, there’s no way to dismiss ones which just don’t apply, and most of all, they make it harder to use the app to get banking done which is why I opened the app in the first place. It’s bad enough I’m going to look for another bank which is a shame because other than this, I like these folks.

So easy to navigate, i do all my banking needs in a little bit of time. Transfer, send money (zelle) and bill pay.

The Village Bank is fantastic! They have wonderful customer service, tellers and management, who are always so willing to help. I have not been disappointed yet and have been with them for over 15 years now. Their mobile app is great and very easy to navigate. I will be a customer for life.
