Russian by Living Language

Been trying to learn Russian for ages with little progress. Honestly, I'm very disappointed with the App Store, there's not much there for me. I don't know what a genitive personal pronoun is, or a reflexive noun, so excuse me for that. This rules out the traditional courses, but I'm not a Rosetta Stone or Duolingo type. I need something written and a few, not too complicated, rules. There are lots of language apps, this one distinguishes itself from the hoard by being professionally written and executed. Russian speakers are clear and presenter level elocution. It's mostly straightforward stuff. Unfortunately, there's not enough material to make it a complete course, and should be viewed as supplementary material. Some of the games are a bit dodgy also- how are you expected to spell something exactly in Cyrillic as a beginner?

I don't get why the series has few rates. It's easily the best app i've found so far for Russian. Clear, comprehensive and just easy to follow. The lessons are set up in short, easy to digest packets of information with useful games. Overall, great for beginners but cannot comment on the intermediate and advanced stuff as of yet. Not quite there! Worth a try.
