Complication is reasonably fast and there's some nice typst-specific IDE-like features here, but the basic text editing is not up to snuff. It doesn't auto-add paired delimiters which is especially annoying given how quickly it can flag unpaired delimiters as an error, and it doesn't have any special handling for indentation like a code editor should.
