I think this app is a scam. Any attempt to connect to your Hisense air conditioner triggers tons of ads. Support links don’t work in it. And frankly, it doesn’t work at all. Use the ConnectLife app, which is I think the official app for Hisense. At least when I was hooking up my air conditioner to Alexa and Google Home, those apps triggered ConnectLife. In any case, that app works. This app does NOT. I believe it’s a scam.
They are just using the name in this POS app to get people to install it so they can charge you $47 a month just to turn your air-conditioning on, forget that. What you really want is the ConnectLife app, it will connect directly to your high sense devices. I figure it’s our job to get in here and tell people stay away from these apps that say hisense but really have no connection to the company.
I just purchased this for my local Costco because I saw that you can download an app and turn it on so I thought that was perfect when I was leaving work I would turn it on so when I came home, it was nice and cool. Unfortunately that’s not the case when you download the app after you get 1000+ ads on your phone and ask you to start paying $47 a month because then it can control everything in your home. That was not my intentions. I have no use for this app other than to turn the air-conditioning on when I’m not home and I’m not paying $47 a month after your first trial month.
