Trovelo: Private Trip Planner

I love this app for planning trips. Has a great day count down feature and I love the map for planning. Maybe the feature is there and I’m just not seeing it, but would love to add my spouse to the app and share the trips natively

I’ve been really happy with this app so far. It feels like it’s still growing and improving, but doesn’t feel unfinished in spite of that. The developer has been really responsive to feedback. I let him know something wasn’t working right and literally the next day an update came out to fix it. It’s got a very simple setup and design, but still has a lot of details. The way it’s all laid out on a map is great for planning purposes. I would like to see some way of adjusting the time between locations to reflect public transportation versus walking. Great app!

I’ve been really enjoying using Trovelo as a private trip planner—it’s super helpful having everything organized in one place. The interface feels clean and modern, and it’s pretty easy to move around different sections. Planning trips feels way less stressful and actually kind of fun because of it. One thing I think could be improved though is the travel tips (and destinations) section. Right now, it feels a bit limited and hard to notice in the app. I’d love to see more useful, location-based tips—like local customs, safety advice, budget hacks, or just those “good to know” things when traveling. It would be even better if these tips popped up naturally while planning, like suggestions or prompts as you build your itinerary. Making them more interactive and easier to access would really level up the experience. Overall, Trovelo already has a really solid foundation and is easy to use. I’m excited to see how it grows and improves over time!
