This is too easy… repetitive tiles, too generous with the “not equals” areas even in hard mode, and a lot of no-brainer moves. Not to mention the minuscule typeface and no contrast between colored colors and white text so it’s very difficult to read even with my young eyes. I love the NYT pips and downloaded this to feed my addiction, but feels less like a brain teaser and more like a waste of time.
Type too small
I get bored with this game if the puzzles are too easy, but you can’t choose your difficulty and leveling up is grueling - you get I think 20 points per game and need *hundreds* of points to advance. I’m trying to slog through to get to the good part, but there was a recent update that made the game even easier by putting in a few pieces at the start of the game and there’s no setting that I can find to remove this. I don’t know how much longer I’ll be able to keep up if I don’t advance soon, there’s no fun in finishing a puzzle in 30 seconds.
