I’ve always loved learning about random things and going down rabbit holes, but these days I feel like I rarely really have the time to properly explore all the books and topics I’m curious about. This app has been a nice way to get some of that back. I’ve been using it to explore books that friends recommend to me, including ones I probably wouldn’t have had time to read otherwise. It’s also made it easier to actually chat with friends about the books they’re excited about instead of just saying “I’ll put it on my list.” I like that it goes much deeper than something like a single Wikipedia article, especially when it comes to the structure, arguments, themes, and nuances within the text. It’s also been really helpful for understanding texts initially written in other languages that I’d otherwise never get a grasp of. Being able to listen to explanations while walking or washing dishes is one of my favourite features. It turns boring chore time into an opportunity to actually learn something at the same time. It doesn’t replace actually reading a great book, but it’s helped me rediscover that feeling of being curious about something and having the opportunity to keep learning on the go.

Super useful! I love reading but never have time to make it though a full book. This app has been a great way to read new books and makes engaging with the content fun.
