Gridiron Coaching: Football GM

update: now my dynasty is stuck. i can’t advance week anymore bc the button only reloads the same week. so now i can’t play. definitely needs to focus on fixing bugs old review: fun game, but definitely needs to work on bug fixing. one big one is after the coaching carousel, i always have to quit the game and restart because the button to go to the next season doesn’t work. sometimes it’ll say JUCO players are available during recruiting but there’s no players when you click the tab. in the coach skill tree, you can’t click on any of the options to see what they do without buying them if you have enough points to buy it, which is really annoying. you also have to toggle on manual progression for coordinators every season, which makes zero sense. i also turned on the option to get key play pop ups during games, and have never gotten one. that’s fine i guess, but not getting to call any plays feels pretty limiting. also the player cards are constantly jumping around during recruiting, which is really annoying. my big issue right now though is with player interest. i have a 5 star program. have been in the playoffs for like 5-6 seasons straight, and just won a championship, but somehow zero 4-5 HS players are interested in playing for me. also i don’t know if there just isn’t a manual redshirt option or if it’s buried somewhere (there’s not much a tutorial).

EDIT: the game has improved greatly in just over a week! No login needed. One thing I’d like to see is with realignment. Giving the option to realign the conferences mid-season doesn’t make sense. Would rather see that as an option for offseason only. If not then don’t reset the schedule if you change mid-season. Also, I think being able to change the way teams qualify for playoffs when you do a realignment would be cool too. It seems like it sticks with the way it is in real life with the power four conference winners getting auto bids but the PAC12 doesn’t seem to get an auto bid, but if you realign and make conferences equal you should be able to change the way the playoff bids work too. Also I’ve noticed FCS teams (that aren’t in a FBS conference) make the CFP playoff..which is strange. The game is improving with every update and I’m still playing! On season 25 and counting!!
