Overall the game is extremely fun and easy to get sucked into. The leveling up of heroes is well balanced but at time ad-heavy. I’ve spent hours on this game but without ads my progress has seem to stall at times. The biggest strength of the game is the easy to learn auto-battle mechanics and somewhat easy to understand strength levels. The variety of ways to play is intriguing despite the lack of actual variety when it comes to gameplay. There is also the aspect of micro transactions vastly speeding up gameplay but not being a requirement to progress. My biggest issue with the game is the ranked and pvp mode seeming to be almost random and at the very minimum rng based. No matter your power level due to the damage multiplier you can lose at any point regardless of strength. As much as this is great for new players who can feel as if they pulled off an “upset” of a greater ranked play; there is a certain point where experience is worthless as no matter what you’re hoping for the damage multiplier to come in at an opportune time. The power levels are also not clearly explained which only adds to the frustration when equipping new gear; it is unclear if characters should only increase their power level based on all-around stats or their specialization stats.

This game is completely rigged against you, it requires you to do fake PVP progression where the enemy AI constantly cheats to make you lose, so you would want to spend money on in game purchases. My stats are way stronger than my opponents in any match up, and the enemy proceeds to infinitely combo me while dodging every hit my characters do. When my characters do hit them, they don’t combo, they don’t even bother to multi hit when I have thousands of combo where my enemy does not, this entire experience is awful to play, the game just forces you into an infinite loop of losses when you just want to unlock a new character, this is the worst mobile game I have ever had the displeasure of getting addicted to. Oh? Did I mention every-time the game cheats and forces a loss on you, it hits you with an unstoppable ad unless you fork over more money to get rid of them, but even then if you do pay for ad removal, you still get them. This game just wants to torture you to the point of spending money, the devs need to make the game feel better to play and not make things nearly impossible to progress once you get to a certain point.

Game is super fun and I play it all the time, but there is an issue going on with the ads. Sometimes an ad will take a very long time to load, even with a strong internet connection, and when it is finished and the user tries to continue playing, the game will not load properly. You can hear the game still being played, such as combat and some other sound effects, but there is no image being displayed. The only thing that seems to resolve this is to force close the app and restart it, but I have found that I often lost any content that was set to unlock from watching the ad. I have attempted to completely restart my phone and even reinstalled the game, but neither of those seemed to help. I have also heard from other users that sometimes they will still see forced ads, even after purchasing the No Ads unlock. Hopefully these issues get resolved soon.
