HDRfy – HDR Photo Lab

HDRfy has become a valuable part of my photography workflow. I process my photos in Lightroom and then use HDRfy to create HDR versions. It does an remarkably good job of converting finished SDR photographs to HDR, often producing results I prefer to what I can achieve using Lightroom’s HDR tools without considerable additional editing. I’ve used it successfully with photos from high-end Sony mirrorless cameras as well as iPhone HEIC images. It is particularly useful for restoring an effective HDR presentation to iPhone photos after they have been edited in Lightroom. The developer also deserves considerable credit for support. I reported an unusual full-resolution export problem that was difficult to reproduce. He corresponded with me directly, examined my sample files, investigated the full-resolution export pipeline, and made improvements in a subsequent release. HDRfy is inexpensive, easy to use, actively developed, and does something I have not found another application that can do nearly as conveniently. Highly recommended for photographers with HDR-capable displays.

New era of images! So beautiful - you have to have an HDR screen to see, but if you do, you will know the difference between an HDR image and an SDR image because it will be clear! It doesn’t simply brighten the image. It gives it real HDR! Thanks so much!

This app is amazing. It converts my standard SDR photos into true, stunning HDR with ease. What I love most is that it doesn't just do the traditional, over-processed exposure stacking that most apps do. Instead, it creates genuine HDR based on Gain maps. The highlights actually glow naturally on the screen, and the results are incredible. I honestly couldn't ask for more. Huge thanks to the developers for creating this!
