I have been searching for an actually helpful app for DBT and haven’t been able to find one until now. This app has everything that I need to help practice DBT. One suggestion and request: - I got a new phone and lost all my old data because my iCloud wasn’t back up. (My fault entirely) I’m not sure if possible but being able to link an email to this app would have allowed me to recover my data easier. I also love this app so much, I’d ld love to be able to use it on the go with my Apple Watch. Having that support would be HUGE. Even if it was just a reminder to check in with the app.
I want to love this app, I love the UI and the skill stacks. I think that there should be more options for customisation within entries, but it is fine as is too. Unfortunately, I seem to be experiencing a number of bugs, such as data being overwritten and data that I did not enter showing up anyway (for example, moods I did not log). The skills library is still very valuable though and makes the app worth keeping on my phone. This app seems relatively new so I hope with time the bugs will be fixed.
The only DBT app to date that’s designed the way people actually practice DBT! It’s brilliant and very easy to use. I’m so happy to have found it, as I was lost after my DBT skills group and therapy ended. It’s vital to have this app to structure my daily practice. I’m two years into DBT and it’s been foundational to living all kinds of changes in my life and shifts in my beliefs and thinking. Mindfulness is the key, mindfulness means so much to me but it’s hard to practice without the basic structure this app provides. I love its colourful design too, it’s warm, welcoming and cheery.
