This ring appears to work well and is accurate, but I need a few things that would make this wonderful. 1). I am in menopause. Why do I need to have cycle tracking on my main dashboard? I don’t want that there but haven’t found a way to remove it. 2). I want to see steps and distance in my main dashboard. I should be able to pick and choose what I want to display and see, and reorganize them for my personal needs 3) the ring needs to come in half and whole sizes. 10.5 was too small and 11.5 is a bit too large. 4). Why does this ring say “titanium” but is stainless? That makes a difference in weight. 5). There is no way to talk to customer support that I’ve found other than here. What am I missing? I haven’t had the ring very long. I read a previous review and would agree with everything she said. There needs to be work done on the app itself to truly make this a competitive ring with the “big boys.”
Cannot find my blood pressure. I wish we could arrange the screen, like remove the women’s menstrual tracker for those of us older. I just got this today’s and so far it’s good except Bp, and if this ring doesn’t have it I will Most likely return it.
While I was impressed with the ring itself, the app is where this ring fails. All of my issues with the app are programming problems that shouldn’t be too difficult to address. The title: “Smart Ring Health Tracker 5ATM Waterproof Sport Ring Exclusive Vibration Alerts Glossy Titanium Blood Oxygen/Sleep/Emotional Management Women Cycle Prediction Compatible with iOS/Android” Is technically accurate. However, it is misleading. The ring does vibrate when you get a call. But only if the ringer on your phone is turned on. If you have the phone on “silent” (not “do not disturb”) the ring does not vibrate with an incoming call. That defeats the purpose of having a ring that vibrates. Further into the description, it says it connects to your phone’s health app and receives notifications from your phone’s other apps. This is even more misleading. The Apple health app shows steps and associated fitness data from the ring. I couldn’t find any of the heart, temperature, or sleep data measured by the ring on the Apple health app. So you have to use the ring’s app for that information. This is not a huge deal. Now, as to the other apps that you are supposed to get notifications from. The Elenva app only receives notifications from social media apps and SMS (texts). Also, Facebook but not Facebook messenger. It doesn’t connect to your alarms, calendar, or reminders. If you want alarms or reminders, you have to put them in the Elenva app. If you have an iPhone, forget messages. That app isn’t on the list. But the SMS doesn’t work, either. The whole purpose of getting this ring was to replace the need for the big watch. This one claimed to do the things I needed my watch to do. It doesn’t. What it does do, is monitor your heart rate, spO2 levels, temperature, and sleep. And it does those things very well. Those are all wonderful things. But that’s not why I bought it. I haven’t decided if I’m keeping the ring. I am hoping the developers will update the app to cover the issues stated above. If so, the Elenva ring and its corresponding app will be the best thing since sliced bread. 😁
