it starts off by telling you how much better than other apps it is, how they’re not nearly as greedy, and then immediately starts trying to get you to buy premium without even getting to try the games. if you say no they ask again, and again, and again, every time trying to guilt you a little more into giving them money with options like “i’ll stay wondering,” “i don’t want to sleep well,” etc. after like three times saying no, they give you a pop up that essentially says “well fine, i GUESS we can give you a discount since you’re so persistent but you have to buy it in ten minutes or it will be full price again.” keep in mind i never got to try the games.
I’d like to go in noting that this is definitely a pay to access app once your trial ends: however, it’s worth it, and not expensive. The developers clearly had a goal when they made this. Not only did they ensure the colors were dark to set you up for bed, but also use red accents instead of blue to avoid blue light telling your brain to wake up. The games are low intensity, fun, easy to understand, and with the recent addition of choose your path, I suspect our devs here have dabbled in DnD.. 10/10
I know I should probably be reading or something before bed but this at least has gotten me to stop doom scrolling. I like the eyes closed games
