Train Tracker Pro is a train tracking app for Amtrak and VIA Rail Canada that offers live train tracking, timetables that update as a journey progresses, current temperature and weather condition information at a train's live location, train-specific travel alerts from Amtrak, and the ability to follow a train's progress on your iPhone lock screen and in the Apple Watch Smart Stack with Live Activities.

Our app also offers 14-day history of train locations, speeds, timetables, and Amtrak travel alerts. Simply enter History mode, select the time point you want to see, and you will see the map exactly as it was at that time. Seeing train details, timetables, and Amtrak travel alerts in either Live or History mode requires an active 7-day free trial or subscription.

Train Tracker Pro is the first train tracking app that shows historical train locations, speeds, and timetables for Amtrak and VIA Rail trains as they were at any time during the past 14 days.

It's also the first train tracking app to offer Live Activity support for both Amtrak and VIA Rail trains. Simply tap a train on the map, tap the Follow button, and you can see that train's progress right on your iPhone lock screen -- including the name of the next stop, the ETA for that stop, and the current delay status of the train. If you have a paired Apple Watch running watchOS 11 or later, you will also see the next stop and the ETA for that stop in the Apple Watch Smart Stack. Live Activities will continue to update for up to 8 hours automatically. You can follow up to 5 trains simultaneously.
