Different and NEW

I didn’t expect to actually like another social app… but here we are. Boing feels like someone finally figured out that people are tired of over-curated, try-hard content. It’s real, it’s interactive, and the whole “you have to respond to unlock” feature? Lowkey genius. It forces actual participation instead of just mindless scrolling, which makes the connections feel way more genuine. What I really appreciate is how easy it is to show personality without feeling like you’re performing. You’re not stuck trying to get the perfect angle or aesthetic, you’re just… talking. And somehow that hits harder. I’ve come across way more authentic conversations here than on most platforms. Also, not to be dramatic, but the vibe is noticeably less chaotic. People actually want to engage, not just lurk or troll. Is it perfect? No app is. But it’s refreshing, and that alone puts it ahead of the game right now. If you’re burnt out on traditional social media and want something that actually feels human again, Boing is worth trying.

how boing helped me find new friends on campus

i actually love using boing because it makes meeting new people in college feel way less awkward and way more natural. it’s nice having a space where you can just talk, find people with similar interests, and build real friendships outside of just classes. sometimes it’s hard to connect on campus when everyone’s busy or already in their routines, but boing makes it easier to reach out and start conversations. i’ve met some really cool people through it and it honestly makes college feel more social and less isolating. it’s a fun way to stay connected, expand your circle, and feel more involved in the college experience 🤍
