DC Metro Buddy & Train Widget

This is the best metro app for tracking train times. As a subscriber, I get access to the widget feature, which allows me to get real time updates on my home screen of incoming trains. The subscription is affordable and incredibly valuable for me as I plan my commute to work every morning. 10/10 would recommend to all DC commuters. It’s truly a must have!

I used to rely on Google Maps for train schedules, which was a hassle, but this app makes the DC Metro experience so much easier. If you ride the DC Metro, this app is a must-have! This app provides real-time WMATA train arrivals and schedules, helps you find the nearest DC Metro station, and I also like that it lets you create a widget to check train times without opening the app.

DC Metro Buddy has a station-based design which makes it very easy to navigate and find your destinations. I like the color-coded dots on stations that allow me to quickly identify the correct transfer points. It is a concise and user-friendly design to show train schedules.
