Aı Note Taker - YapNote

I saw in insta someone had used an app called flownotes so i downloaded it, but when i got on u had to pay for stuff and being in high school i don’t got that money. Anyway i searched around and a lot of the other apps also had this issue, until i found yapnote. It does everything those other apps do but for freeeeeee! i recorded my history professor and it gave me a section by section detailed overview and a very accurate transcript, which when using an app like voice memos isn’t possible. the only thing i would add is the ability to download recordings from ur device but other than that literal perfection. 10/10 recommend.

Part of my job is a Building Permit Specialist for a city. As such, I attend a lot of meetings with various companies, contractors, developers, planners, engineers, etc. These meetings are always formal with lots of details and discussions. This app has been a fantastic tool for my note taking. Rather than typing or writing frantically to capture everything that is said, all I have to do is press record and the app does all the work for me. The summaries are extremely helpful in bringing everyone on the same page and gives necessary information to those who were not able to attend. Everyone who I’ve sent copies to have been extremely satisfied and appreciative of all the information. It speeds up the communication. Being able to go into the transcript and see that different people are speaking rather than one long transcript is awesome. If I was to ask for anything to be improved it would be these things: 1) Exporting. When exporting, have it maintain the formatting rather than having to go back and edit the document to make it look like what’s on the app. 2) Transcriptions. Be able to change the names at the top of the document and it change all the names for you. 3) Playback. Be able to rewind, fast forward, change speed, and skip to sections by tapping on the paragraph or words that you want to hear. If you playback to ensure it is capturing the correct person, you get one chance to hear it. 4) Editing. Be able to edit what was created within the app before exporting to correct any information that was incorrect at time of recording.

I have used all the popular ones in the market. I have a lot of brainstorming sessions and product planning sessions. None of the other tools summarize them as good as wat YapNote does. I would say the other tools come to may be 70% of what this can do at twice the cost and half the limit. I am impressed how well this app is being implemented. Kudos to the team for making this app as simple and most effective as possible.
