Really solid app. Clean interface, works reliably, and does exactly what it promises. Happy with it so far!
You’d better call the property and make sure they have truck parking. I looked at one of the properties on the satellite map and it was clear that the only truck parking was on the street, so I called the front desk and a rude person told me they do not have truck parking. I asked if he knew they were listed on an app specifically for truckers and he got snippy. I found a different property and gave them a call. They did have truck parking, but the price on this app was 33% higher than the one I normally use. There are no ratings. Maybe you’ll find a decent spot, or maybe you’ll get bedbugs. No ratings, no reviews. So you have to go find the property on another app to learn anything about it. I guess because we drive trucks we’re supposed to be ok with filthy rooms and bad employees — I wouldn’t set foot in some of these places, but I had to use a different app to find that out. If you do use this app, you’ll want to do the smart thing and just use it to get leads on some places to stay, then look them up on a better app, check out the ratings, read some reviews, and call the front desk directly to see if they have truck parking. And if they do, book it with the good app for less money. I literally just booked a Motel 6 for $72 on my other app and this dumb thing wanted $108+ for the same room. Update: I called the property I’m staying at ahead of time and was assured that there was truck parking. I looked at the satellite image and it looked like there was a huge parking lot. Fast forward to tonight, when I arrive and all the big open space in the satellite image has new buildings on it, and there is absolutely not any truck parking here. I found room on the street behind the motel, thankfully.
This app has saved me multiple times, highly recommended. I will be using going forward.
