Secrets by Episode NETFLIX

I absolutely love the Secrets by Episode! I’ve finished each one in about a week and a half and I am ultimately so hooked! As I’ve gotten to the newer ones, I realized they seem to be shorter than some of the earlier ones. I really love the ones that are more than 12 episodes. The only thing I miss is in the earlier episodes such as ‘The Knockout’ and ‘More Than Neighbors’, some of the dialogue for intimate scenes were raunchier than they are now which is what I feel made the stories seem more realistic and explained the 17+ rating. I just feel as though the newer episodes are starting to lean more towards the other episode app which is rated for 12+. Nonetheless still such a good game!!! Also please have Lina Wesson do more stories!! I was in tears by the end of ‘Don’t Let Go!”

I’m a big fan of episode and I love trying the new versions. This is my favorite so far because of how many options there are for your gender and the love interest’s, though I think there should be a few more body types for trans people just like how there’s 4 of each for the presumably cis man and woman bodies and I feel like with that customization there should be some variation in the stories that’s not just changing genders and pronouns. Honestly as a trans man that enjoyed these games before I came to terms with my identity, I’ve found it a lot harder to enjoy the games now because in the main app and the Apple Arcade app almost all the stories have strictly female main characters. While I can be a man in any of these stories it’s very clear in most cases that it was made for a female main character and I know this app realistically appeals to women a lot more but personally I feel that if I can play as a man then that man shouldn’t then be treated like a woman just because that’s how the story was made, the story should be tweaked to fit the now male main character. Also there were some times in stories where pronouns were messed up and one where my character called himself a girlfriend in his thoughts so yeah the customization could use some work but I like the game. I am excited to try the one story that has a gay couple in the photo because I figure that one at least will treat my character as a man.

Honestly this is my fair review, I’ve never actually taken the time to write any review on any game even if I liked the game I never wrote a review, I’ve played episode so many times in my life growing up and I really loved that game, the most challenging part of episode was the nonstop spending of diamonds and they were hard to gather when you don’t want to spend money on the game itself. By far this is the best version of that game. I really enjoyed playing this game and would to see further stories, although I’ve finished them all I would definitely replay all of them. Not to mention there are no diamonds in this game!! I love how you can freely choose any outfit and still choose all options you desire. Best game ever!! Thank you so much!! :)
