Hello Town: Merge & Story

It is VERY fun and addicting, I play it everyday. However, like many other people, I did not receive my diamond bonus when I invited my friends (and had them make it to level 5). I also agree that there’s a problem of the app being “rigged.” When needing one type of item, the generator gives tons of the other item, and then vice versa when you need the other. I had a feeling that it did that but now seeing other people having that same issue, I feel vindicated! I knew something was fishy. Also, once in a while my phone will continuously vibrate until I close the app and that’s annoying. Makes you fulfill a lot orders with the highest level items, so it takes you forever to finish it. Which I understand makes the game harder, but it just takes days to fulfill them. The daily tasks are sometimes annoying because it asks you for dog or cat treats yet you don’t need anything from those generators so you’re kind of wasting energy trying to finish that task. There are a lot of cons but the game is fun enough that you can kinda ignore them but it does still make me super frustrated and want to delete the app but I can’t make myself get rid of it!

It's been so long since I've come to genuinely write a review for an app; but this game makes it so easy. A lot of merge games force advertisements down your throat and have the most unappealing game play, but Hellow Town is SO CUTE! It's the only game on my phone that makes me want to watch ads because it actually has an awesome and fair daily pay-out. It never jump-scares you with them, and this game is the perfect example of what all app store games should strive to be. Ever since downloading I play this game daily, and am never bored with it. Devs, you deserve a huge pat on the back and a huge pay out as well.

It’s a great game! Very cute graphics! Love the music too! Been playing for a few weeks but you can only go so far in a day because it’s very difficult to fulfill orders. I’ve been trying to fulfill one order for 3 days now and it gets very, very frustrating because you either watch a lot of ads to get more energy (until you run out of that and need to start paying or wait for it to recharge!) There is lots of waiting for the generators to recharge as well and only after giving out a lot of things you don’t need (it feels like it gives you TONS of useless items before it gives you 1 of what you need and you need a ton of those to get the max level item!). So the more I played, the more frustrated I got. I’m starting to lose interest, which prompted this review, and considering deleting the app. I understand they want to make money from players also in addition to the ads, so definitely not for players not willing to spend real money. But would totally recommend for players that have the money to waste on a game because it truly is cute and a great app.
