Contact Exporter & Import Pro

This app doesn’t deal well with contacts that use alternative characters in the data fields, such as 𝖲𝖺𝗇𝗌, 𝘚𝘢𝘯𝘴 𝘪𝘵𝘢𝘭𝘪𝘤, 𝗦𝗮𝗻𝘀 𝗯𝗼𝗹𝗱, and 𝙎𝙖𝙣𝙨 𝙗𝙤𝙡𝙙 𝙞𝙩𝙖𝙡𝙞𝙘. Things like search miss them, unlike the Contacts app itself, if you try to match using the regular default font. Worse, is that it doesn’t even export (or search) all of the data fields. It missed: images, prefix, suffix, maiden name, nickname, job title, department, company name, extra dates, references, and more. The search leaves much more to be desired, as it fails to utilize a variety of the fields named above in the search, and include some of them in the individual results themselves. Furthermore, the UI is dookie, so the UX is too: Selecting individual contacts to export is awkward as there is no way to see what you have selected, except by endless scrolling; There is no “clear all” button for your selections; You’re welcome for all the free feedback, because as a professional software developer, I normally get paid for this type of work.

This app only exports only two fields (name and one phone number) with no other fields selectable. So if you need to back up contacts with two phone numbers, and email, address, or anything else, this won’t do it. In addition, when you choose to export all contacts as pdf, it still only exports 50 as csv unless you select csv and then switch back to pdf again. The default selection seems to be a big buggy in that respect.

Very cheap lifetime subscription for contact backup. i wish developer wouldnt increase price!
