The hardware this company makes is pretty nice. This app is garbage. Doesn’t look anything like a native app. Janky login behavior. Can’t figure out how to update firmware or change light settings, can’t even turn the lights off from the app. You would have to actively try to make software this bad.

It’s hard to review an app that has never worked but I guess that’s the review. I got it to connect to my Radar taillight once… but was never able to make changes or update it. It just crashes whenever I try to connect. The light is nice. The app - who knows?

I have a Magicshine RAY 2600B. The Magicshine APP has two different modules, module one for one light (flood light) and module two for two lights (flood light + spotlight = hybrid). Within the modules, one can create different lighting modes. The modes can be set to different power levels as a percentage of full power, and combined with continuous light or two flash settings to create different combinations for multiple modes. Using the circular button on the handlebar remote, one click switches between modes and two clicks switches between modules. The only issue is that hybrid and flood light modes cannot be combined within the same module. If that issue can be addressed, I’d give the APP a five star rating.
