Voice Recorder: Transcribe App

It seems to do the job… except the transcription is in Russian and there is no way to change the language settings.

This appears to be an app to transcribe Russian language. I was able to download, install and select the lifetime plan, however when I tried to record a transcribe a minute of a couple podcasts, I received an error. It recorded the audio just find, but must not have been able to “understand” the English language. I then recorded myself reading a paragraph from a book, but upon transcribing to text, another language appeared that I didn’t recognize. I assume it was Russian because that is the language the App Store reports it as. How could I rate it anything other than 3 stars. I didn’t want to trash the app just because it wasn’t meant for my language, but in the other hand, maybe the app wouldn’t work well even if I spoke Russian. How could I know?

For some reason, it thinks my recordings are in Russian. I tested it with a podcast episode that is in English, and it transcribed to Russian text. Then I tested with my own voice in English, and it transcribed to Russian text again. I don’t speak Russian. My phone’s language settings are set to English and never has been Russian. In my test recording, I said, “Does this thing work?”. This is what it transcribed to “Ты застревает”, which translates to “You get stuck”.
