Rookie Me Connect

Training schedules, game times, and player availability are all in one place, and parents get instant notifications instead of missing emails or group chats. The attendance tracking is particularly useful before games, as we know exactly who is available ahead of tip-off. It has made managing a junior basketball team far more organised and professional.

Rookie Me Connect helps us stay up to date with team updates and events like a lot of similar apps, but we have found something our club has set up, sets this apart as something more, and it is having a big impact. A huge benefit is that my daughter also has a profile on Rookie Me Connect (she is 12yo and only just got her first phone), that I have oversight of all comms, but so she can start to take some ownership over her training and game schedule, what to bring, when to be there, also understanding the training programs that our coach shares with her players in resources and even ongoing communications directly with the coach week in week out to help keep her on task for her growth areas and feedback. They have regular conversations in a safe and secure environment that I am a part of. Importantly, this is all done in a chid safety first environment where I am attached to her profile as her guardian and can see all interaction with her coaches and can be sure it is all safe and supportive. It isn’t just a team management tool to inform about team events etc, it is connecting the people that can help my daughter, before, during and after training or games. It is a huge step in the right direction for our team and club. Well done Rookie Me, we love the depth of this tool, positioned to be more then just comms. Keep it up!!

A really easy to use app that allows everyone within an organisation to communicate in an easy and effective way. It is great for clubs who have plenty of individuals who need a central place to communicate. It is also a really handy app to access resources.
