My kids love selecting the different task timers ( e.g., brushing teeth, breakfast, homework). They are much more apt to stay on task. There are more options available with he Pro version, but even the basic one is solid.
As a pediatric nurse and now a behavioral therapist, I’ve worked with children of all ages, and one thing is universal—transitions can be tough! The Mouse & Counter Timer has been a fantastic tool for helping kids manage time effectively while reducing stress for both children and caregivers. Pros: ✅ Kid-Friendly Design – The bright colors and fun visuals make it engaging for little ones. Some models even feature cute characters or countdown lights. ✅ Visual & Auditory Cues – The countdown function with a gradual color change and optional sound alerts helps kids understand time without needing to read a clock. ✅ Helps with Transitions – Whether it’s getting ready for school, limiting screen time, or preparing for bedtime, this timer makes transitions smoother. ✅ Durable & Portable – The sturdy build means it can handle some rough handling, and its compact size makes it easy to take on the go. Cons: ⚠️ Volume Control Could Be Better – Some versions may be a little too loud or too quiet, depending on your needs. ⚠️ Battery-Powered – A rechargeable option would be a great improvement. Final Thoughts: This timer is a must-have for parents, teachers, and therapists working with young kids or children with special needs. It fosters independence and helps with self-regulation, making daily routines much more manageable. Definitely a great investment! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (5/5)
I like the simplicity of this app. Wanted something super simple and to the point. This definitely fits the bill. I like to see the rabbit make its way around the timer circle and the premium pictures are very sweet…they bring a smile to my face…will enjoy using this timer app to try to keep myself focused…thanks!
