Hot Wheels™: Race Off+

I played this game a lot growing up, and it’s been about 7-8 years since I last played so just finding this on the App Store brought back many memories of when I was a child. This game is great however not perfect. It’s currently littered with bugs/glitches that ruin overall experience. One being that EVERY time you collect a coin the game freezes for a split second before continuing, which of course makes it very frustrating since the game already has low fps. Not to mention the fact you need coins to upgrade your cars so it’s not something you can just disable. For the first 80% of my gameplay the game ran fine but recently that’s all I’ve been dealing with. To anyone reading this, I’m not saying don’t download the game because it’s still fun for some days, but don’t expect it to be anywhere close to how it used to be. And definitely don’t waste hours like me grinding the same level to reach the next car, which I also think is a HUGE issue with this game. The grinding takes foreverrrrr

I’ve been playing this game for about a week and this game is overall great and I’ve been progressing a lot. Some problems are that when the cars climb up a hill, for some reason, the car does a wheelie and starts flipping. I really don’t think that’s normal for a car, even if it has low stability. Also why do I keep losing fuel when I’m not moving? Overall still good though. Another thing is that I think you guys should let people use cars from any set to race in any area. Also gems are basically only able to be used for unlocking cars, and cars can be unlocked for free by upgrading anyways. I would love if you guys added some customizable features for aesthetics on a car to spend gems on. I also feel like you guys should have other ways to unlock cars other than using gems like fun challenges and activities. And also, I would be extremely happy if you guys added multiplayer.

I had tons of fun with the original, and still have it to this day, but after it was shut down, I continued to play single player and ended up getting three stars in 159 of the levels. But even with a fully upgraded 24 Ours, it was impossible to stay ahead of the AI, and I got this about a month ago and made the same amount of progress in that time frame and now I have only three upgrades left for 24 Ours and it’s not looking promising. So maybe in a future update you could allow that car to be supercharged at the least and maybe the others as well. That’s it, hopefully I’ll be able to 100% the game one way or another.
