This app is amazing! The stories people write here are better than most books! However, the reason I gave it a 4 is because I can’t comment even though there IS a comment section somewhere. I can’t find it though. The other reason I gave it a 4 is because I also want to write my own story book that feature seem to doesn’t exist for some reason. Like, how does the authors write their stories? I would I ask them in the comments but I can’t find the comment section. But this is the best book app I have ever found!

The search function is broken. Very, very broken. For example, even if you have the exact title of a fic you’re searching for, nine times out of ten the search won’t pull it up. In fact, it won’t pull up anything at all. The search for tags doesn’t work either. It brings up a dropdown box that only includes a few tags, whether or not those tags actually apply to the category you’re looking for is a crapshoot. That includes relationships, characters, and so on. The fields are also mislabeled or pointing to the wrong box, like when you’re searching for an “additional” tag, it brings up character names and relationships. Add to that that some fics don’t get added to your “recently read” list and others get stuck on “coming” instead of “read now” or “continue reading” (even if they were both saved to your library *and* downloaded on top of that, or being perfectly accessible even moments before) among other issues, I really hope the devs get some quality QA testers to smooth things out soon. Oh, right. Battery drain. This app drains my phone battery faster than anything I’ve ever installed. I can start a 5000-word chapter with my battery at 100% and by the time I finish reading that chapter my battery will be at 95-96%. And I don’t read slow; a 5000-word chapter takes me on average about 8 minutes to read, if I read it slowly.

Love this app! It’s cozy and the UI is responsive. However, my main gripe is the organization of favorited fics. For example, may I suggest an “in progress” section for fics you are still reading? I tend to save multiple fics before reading them one by one, and I have to sift through all the other ones. As well as this, I wish the add placement wasn’t as intrusive to be WHILE you’re reading the fic. I understand it’s to compel people to pay, but the subscription is too pricey for most. Please reconsider the ad placement.
