A friend recommended this app to me and I really liked using it I used it for about five months. However, then one day I logged onto it and the ads are insane!! It’s like anytime I typed a letter or just touch the screen while using the app a new ad would pop up like literally every two seconds. It’s nearly impossible to use it now without an ad getting in the way. It’s sad because I really like this app so hopefully they can get this thing figured out

I have used this app for many years and have never been able to email myself a backup of the data. I have reached out to the company several times with no reply. I had paid for a subscription hoping that would fix the issue with no luck. I used to love the organization this app allowed. However, about 9 months ago the ability to track tip outs and hourly pay disappeared. Again I purchased a subscription hoping that would solve the issue - no luck. This app keeps getting “updates” and claiming bug fixes but nothing ever changes.
I have since switched to a different app (ServerLife) that offers much more organization, is more user friendly, and the Developers/company actually answer emails/reviews to help their customers. They also offer assistance with inputting data from other tip tracking apps!!!
If I didn’t need the data from previous years currently on Tipsee, then I would delete it!! If TipSee ever gets around to answering their emails and helping their customers, then I will update this review. But I’m not holding my breath!!

I’ve been tracking my tips with TipSee foreveerrr! It’s invaluable to me to have a single place where I can compare how much money I’m making at various jobs, at various times of year, or even week by week or day by day. Seeing every shift’s tips broken down into hourly helps me set a more efficient schedule, and seeing how much money I’m making each month let’s me know how my budget is going to be. I pay the $25 a year for all the pro features so I can keep my multiple jobs separate, so I don’t get ads. I can’t speak on that. It’s also really nice to have an easy to find year-to-date income number that is what I’m actually taking home, not what’s declared on my W-2. I just like to know how much money I’m making, and TipSee does all the work for me! Everyone who makes tips should be tracking them with TipSee.
