Miofive UK Speedcam

After getting a speeding ticket I needed some extra protection for my 6 hour Xmas drive. It started off promising picking up the local cameras it has good accurate speedo and notices were coming through the car audio whilst listening to music from my phone. On the motorway it was good in places, picking up where there were cameras on marked signs and gantries, average speed cameras and no false alarms. The wheels started to fall off about half way as there were false alarms for 50 zones that were there and no alarms for 50 zones that were - not too much of a problem, they are well signed and everyone slows to 50 anyway. The main issue I had was being flashed going through a blank variable speed gantry with no warning at all from the app. This is the first time I’ve ever been caught by a fixed camera and the first time I ever used the app. Waiting for my second NIP in a month. I think the app is good I will probably stop use it cautiously but the protection rate is obviously not running high right now for me. The myth is that the gantry cameras are off unless there is a limit on the screen but more police are leaving them on 24/7. Free app, £100 fine.

Just shows current speed and nothing else. Not the speed limit, nor any cam alerts

Wifi connection works great although there are pauses in streaming but at least everything functions fine I can’t adjust the length of each clip so there is 1 clip per min.
