Ample: Financial Tracking

I’ve been using this app for a bit, and I’m already impressed. I was a bit hesitant to add all my financial accounts at first, but I’m so glad I did. The app provides a clear, comprehensive view of my net worth over time and, most importantly, calculates my withdrawal rate. This insight is a game-changer for me, as it helps me understand how much I can safely spend without eating into my principal. It’s a great tool for anyone wanting to keep an eye on their investments and stay on top of their long-term financial goals.

Great app. I love the simplicity and how easy it is to see the important numbers quickly (especially safe withdrawal).

The app right now is fairly barebones. The pro feature costs more than the value that’s being provided. Areas for improvement: 1. When entering securities, if you need to enter a lot of them, there’s a lot of scrolling. Look to create better UI/ UX prompting users for ticket, then share amount on a second screen. 2. No support for mutual funds like VTSAX.
