Reviews: What People Think About Hand Talk: ASL Sign Language

I used this for my sister now keep in mind that she has much more going on than just being deaf as she has other severe disabilities. She got very upset when I was using this app it made her feel dumb for not being able to just talk normally. I have learned for my situation it’s better to help show you the words and you sign them. I think that app has a great start and that they just need to make it so that the deaf can sign to the app and translate to text.

I love using this app because its free!! And it helps me learn a lot of sign language because i like to include people and it has made learning sign language way easier. I am also Brazilian so thank goodness that they have a Brazilian sign language. This app is a little fast when it comes to being a beginner, but they do have a slower button which really helps. They should make little arrows when the hand is moving to indicate how they are doing it. But over all this app is really good

I am deaf. When I downloaded this app. I am exciting and curious about it. I test myself to type to see this “Cartoon Interpreter” can sign language. Most of their sign language are not complete. Not at all if I type simple sentences like for example, “Hey babe, I am sorry” his interpret say “hey, I am sorry”. A lot missing in sentences. He use libra sign language in America sign language which is conflict. For example, I type “T” he sign libra sign language but didn’t proper sign in America. Obviously their sign language and app are strongly use to libra and not America. I am America and I had no choice to uninstall app. Only if you add proper right America sign language and America “FAQ” or every words relate to America I will install.
