Watch Faces Gallery: Coolz

I really like the watch faces that you can add with this app. However, there are a couple things that keep it from being really great. For starters, there aren’t very many motion faces, which is what I really came for, because you can create regular non-motion watch faces of any photos directly from the watch app. Second, there is no customizability to the watch faces; what you see is what you get, so there’s no ability to change complications or anything like that. I like to have the weather on mine, and none of these include it, so that’s a bummer. And, if you try to modify the watch face with iOS’ new features, which just creates a new face using the photos provided by Coolz, the animation no longer works. Additionally, with the new changes to watchOS, date complications no longer work for newly added faces, but for older faces that you’ve had on your watch, they still work. This seems like something the developer could fix with an update. My last gripe is that the animations are not very long; only about 3 seconds, which for some makes it seem like an incomplete animation. Overall, I do like this app, but wish the faces were at least customizable.

I have tried many watch face apps, so many promise 3D effects, and motion… but NONE has delivered! With this app you get HIGH QUALITY pictures, deep rich blacks and high resolution rich colors! The “motion” that Apple allows their watch faces users to enjoy , is a very strict… and is also VERY short! There is a set amount of (frames) so developers have to stay in those parameters in order to create a watch face that not only looks cool, but also makes sense with the limited space set by Apple! This app brings the watch face to life with so KILLER designs! Gears are one of the coolest way to show-off the apps ability to bring high quality to your Apple Watch face! The blue flame looks amazing, as well as the “Colorful Burst” The “neon vibe” category has purple and pinkish Jellyfish and a VERY LUSH face called “Vivid Pulse” The category “Fluid Symphony” alone would be worth the cost of the app!!!!! “Dream Like Wave” is a gentle ocean wave with the warm reflection of a sunset dancing on top! “Serene Poolscape” is a lush aqua blue water refraction moving up the watch face! “Chromatic Cascades” is a Lava-Lamp-esk type movement, but much deeper than a lava lamp, it’s like it moved out of mom and dads house, and graduated with a 4.5 gpa! I have no reason to write this review, other than the fact that I’m so happy to have found an AMAZING Watch Face app that actually DOES WHAT IT SHOWS it can do, and looks better than I could have hoped for!

I absolutely love this app! As soon as I tried it, I decided to purchase the lifetime membership right away, which is not something I usually do. The quality of the faces exceeded my expectations, and I've already experimented with at least 20 of them. The animated faces are particularly impressive. I highly recommend this app, especially if you can invest in the lifetime membership – it's definitely worth it. One of the best features for me is the ability to display all my essential data in one watch face view, including calendar, weather, and activity. It's so convenient to have everything at a glance without having to switch between different apps. If you're feeling uninspired by your current watch options, I encourage you to give Coolz a try. Investing the time to explore its features is truly worthwhile!
