I don’t usually write reviews because I’m a bit lazy, but this app is so good that I felt I should give the developers some encouragement and help others discover it. My remote always seems to run out of batteries right when I need it, and I don’t have any replacements on hand. It’s such a hassle to trek all the way to the grocery store for batteries! As a lazy person, I really need a remote that’s always powered up, and my phone is the perfect solution. I chose this app out of many for a few reasons: first, the UI is really easy on the eyes; second, it has extra screen mirroring features; and third, the basic remote functions are free. Plus, I’ve found it works with a lot of different brands. Love how it works on both my Samsung in the living room and the old Sony in the basement. Finally, one remote to rule them all!

Connected to my new TV faster than I could find the manual remote in the box! Seriously, as soon as I opened the app, it detected my TV almost instantly. I was still digging through the box, searching for that tiny remote, when the app was already ready to go. The setup was a breeze—just a few taps, and I was good to go! I love how user-friendly it is. No complicated instructions or frustrating delays. It made the whole process so much smoother, and I can’t believe I ever relied on a physical remote. I’m definitely keeping this app.
