I’ve been using a separate journal app along with Apple Notes for years, until Popt came along. I really love how you can instantly tag things like locations, movies, and people (and hopefully music in the future too), and group notes without having to create separate folders every time. While Apple Notes is very versatile, it can feel overwhelming at times. Popt seems to solve that problem nicely. It’s easy to navigate, simple to use, and most importantly, very clear.
i’m always on a hunt to find new (notes) app to try and stumbled across this one from a instagram reel. i’m so happy that it checks out most of what i want from a notes app! been absolutely loving popt!! (and with the rise of ai “art” i absolutely love the artist made stickers🩶) hoping for a widgets update & possibly a mac app as well! i know the app is still early on in the works but im very excited to see more developments and in no way rushing the devs! i can’t wait to see what they have in store for us
I personally have been writing out my ideas and nothing I’ve used up to this point matches this. Clean interface, easy to use, and everything that’s I write out links up together very nicely. I give it a 5 for the great usage I am getting from using the app but I do have some bugs that I’m experiencing. Auto correct is a bit gitched out not completing the correction. When I use any other keyboard other than the default one built for the iPhone, some of what I’m looking at get blocked by the hight of the on screen keyboard. And the last bug I’ve experienced is when I copy and paste in information, a bug menu pops up telling me something went wrong. I am awaiting for this app to reach its fullest potential. I think also it would be great if there was a way for the user to pull up video games like how I can pull up movies into the Popt menu.
