SnapHatch - Fly Fishing Guide

Gave 3 stars because I can’t really tell how good it is. There’s no pricing listed on App Store which makes you think there’s a free version you can try that either is limited in function or simply becomes unusable after a trial period. However, there is no function at all unless you give them a credit card. I like to try things before I decide to expose my personal credit card information to yet another possible place where it could be hacked.

SnapHatch is one of the best ideas I have seen in a while!! It will tell you the perfect fly to tie on from a quick picture of some bugs. I have used it a handful of times and ever since I have caught more fish than ever before. The interface is seamless and easy to use. I have told everyone I know about this that’s how awesome it is!

I have no idea what to do when it comes to picking flies and this app has been incredibly informative. Being able to just take a picture and have a list of suggestions pop up has been a game changer and will be a very valuable asset in my future. Overall very well thought out and it looks like this guy did a ton of research! Great app!
