I've used/ tested out all of the “name remembering”apps on iOS, and this one not only works the best, it's very fairly priced, and the developer, Marc, is super nice and responsive.
It works great, and I can even add or search for names on my Apple Watch.
As soon as I meet somebody new, I plug their name into the app and usually add some kind of note - something to remember them by/characteristic. Then, the next time I'm around them, I can quickly search for any one of those things/notes/characteristics that I can remember, making it really easy to find their name.

This app is exactly what I've been looking for. It's so much more organized and user-friendly than my phone's built-in contacts app. I can group people, add detailed notes, and even see who I've met near my current location. Brilliant!
