CT Pool: Crypto Mining App

Two major complaints: First, mining works well, but plan WAY ahead for withdrawals. I have completed 9 withdrawals so far. One was done same day. Another took 33 days to complete. Average time to complete a withdrawal is about 8 days. Support will tell you that they are “having difficulties” and instructs you to use their wallet. I don’t want to use their wallet and believe that the long delays may be a strong-arm tactic to make you sign up anyway. Second, your miner gets set to inactive sometimes. Might happen twice in one day or may not occur for a week. Sometimes it happens 30 minutes after you check your balance and go to bed. Then you wake up to find your miner has been “off” for hours. It’s completely random. I’ve read that this it to keep people active, but the machine clearly doesn’t power down when they decide to “turn off” my miner. I paid for it to continue running. Who is keeping the bitcoin mined when they switch my account inactive for those hours? This is a great service if you are fine receiving your withdrawal at some point in the unknown future and can log in every couple hours to ensure they haven’t set you to inactive status.

I used to have good things to say about this app. I used to have GREAT things to say about this app. But that all changed around the end of April this year. Once I hit around 50k satoshi withdrawn, my ability to withdraw was abruptly suspended without warning or explanation. Multiple Inquiries to customer support over the past months have proven fruitless. No responses other than the automated “we got your message” and then only silence. No help, no explanation, no resolution in sight, ~$500 of my money now in their pockets and I’m left in the lurch!!! And they have the gall to continue sending marketing emails to me.

Been using for several weeks, noticed 2 issues: 1) if you sign up with sign in with apple and hide my email, you will not be able to withdraw to a wallet, since it verifies by email which never gets forwarded to your email. Then you have to reach out to their support to ask them to change it on the backend (feedback: let users change it in the UI) 2) the toggle for turning mining off will intermittently turn itself off, and this is not explicitly mentioned when you sign up. Reached out to support and they confirmed this can happen every 24 hours. Imagine if you didn't check it for a long time as you weren't aware and that was never explained in signing up, that would be a total waste of money since you then receive no rewards. (feedback the toggle should NEVER turn itself off, and if you can't fix that, there should be a pop up message or some explanation mentioning this when signing up) Fix one of these, I'll raise the rating 1 star, fix both and I'll make it 5 stars. Update: noticed there is a timer so you can actually see and plan when you need to check it again, however would prefer it not turn off at all, and it also still needs to be explained more clearly when purchasing a subscription. I'll make it 4 stars if thats addressed and 5 if they address the issue of not being able to change your login email yourself.
