App Profile: Colorado Jamboree

Colorado Jamboree is a multi-council camporee for Cub Scouts, Scouts, Venturing Scouts, and Sea Scouts from Colorado and surrounding states.

From September 27-29, 2024, thousands of Cub Scouts, Scouts, Venturing Scouts, and Sea Scouts from Colorado and surrounding states will descend upon McNeil Scout Ranch in Elbert, Colorado for three days of Scouting fun, exhibits, challenging activities, competitions, entertainment, and fellowship.

In years past, the Greater Colorado Council (formerly the Denver Area Council), has held a Council Camporee for those scouts and scouters who have not had the opportunity to attend a National or World Jamboree to experience a flavor of what that is. In 2024, we have re-named that event to the Colorado Jamboree!

Our goal is to create an event unlike any other in our council. Something expansive, exciting and new for all of our scouts and scouters to experience that emulates the National Jamboree experience here in GCC!
