Alarm Clock for Spotify Songs

crack your knuckles and settle in for my horror story. first off the graphics scream temu which i was immediately wary of. then i try to pick my alarm sound. the classic thneedville and it started at some random part that sounded ai generated. what. the heck. now here’s where it gets bad. and i mean BAD. i go to try the sound again to see if it was a fluke the time before (because it sounded fake) and all of the sudden there is a grinning indian man on my screen. i in no way intend to sound racist but it is playing some pitchy ah music and this man is like staring into my soul, smirking. not to mention the weirdest music EVER is playing in the background. the caption says “there was an accident, playing the backup song!” what in the hell sort of backup song is this. i am convinced this whole app is made by scammers or ai or something DO NOT GET IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This has been one of my favorite alarms for over a year now since it's reliable 90% of the time and is good quality. My main issue comes from the app recently moving to a subscription use. I don't understand why suddenly they are choosing to charge a monthly fee for the app after so long. While I understand $2.49 a month isn't necessarily bad, suddenly going from free to a fee is annoying.

Whenever I try to play a song, it gives me an error message (“there was an error playing your song. Sorry! Playing the backup song.”) only to go on to play a song that starts off with noises I can only describe as horrid purely because I have heard it so many times. I don’t understand why it says that the song I want to play is available in the app only to not play it. No matter what I do, it will not play the songs I want. It won’t let me know beforehand that the song will not work either, leading me to have to wake up to that sickening noise or listen to it again every minute as I try to fix the error. It’s driving me insane, and I hope this gets fixed soon. For now, my rating will stay a 1 star.
