This app claims that if you scan a room, aiming the camera, mostly at the where the ceiling meets the wall it will calculate the square footage of the room. I did it twice to the first floor of my house and both times it came up with 1600 ft.². However, the correct answer is 980 so it was it was off by quite a lot not by a little bit. It’s a great concept but execution is very very poor.
