I’ve been using this app since the day it came out. I’ve been playing drums for a long time and never really got my reading of drum notation to this level. I look forward to using it every day. I’ve also started to transcribe the rhythms which is a whole other aspect of learning. I cannot recommend this app enough. And JP’s website is top notch learning. Don’t delay.

As a life long drummer I have used many different metronomes, and this is easily the best I’ve ever used. It has any function you could think of for your practice, and more! Many great features here, but the rhythm generator is hands down my favorite. It bases the rhythms on extensive parameters you can set. Works really well with sight reading!!! Can be used in odd time signatures as well.

This app is a wonderful metronome utility with a lot of really cool features. One of my favorite features is the swing continuum, which gives the user the ability to alter the amount of swing a rhythm has. As a drummer, I’ve found it so helpful when trying to capture the nuances of uneven eighth patterns like some traditional Samba feels or Dilla time.
